A joint meeting was held on Monday, 10 November 2025, at the office of the Acting Director General Professor Ahmed Hassan Abu Assar, at ARC headquarters in Wad Medani, with a delegation from Catholic Relief Services (CRS). The organization also extended an official invitation to the ARC to participate in a workshop on summer crops scheduled for January 2026.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to prepare a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed in the coming days, reinforcing areas of partnership and supporting joint efforts to advance the agricultural sector.
